Real Madrid locked horns with Union Berlin at the Stadion An der Alten Försterei earlier tonight as they looked to secure all three points on their travels in the UEFA Champions League. Los Blancos made a solid start to the game but conceded the opening goal in the first half injury-time when Kevin Volland found the back of the net. Carlo Ancelotti’s men went into the half-time break 1-0 down on the scoreline.
Joselu equalised for Real Madrid in the 61st minute before going on to score again in the 72nd minute. Alex Kral equalised for the home team in the 85th minute. However, Real Madrid grabbed the lead again just four minutes later when Dani Ceballos got his name on the scoresheet. The contest ended with Los Blancos earning a narrow 3-2 win away from home.
Let’s take a look at how each Real Madrid player performed during the clash against Union Berlin.
