José Mourinho, as we’re all aware, is a bully and a clown.

He used to be a brilliant football manager – perhaps the best. But football’s moved beyond his brand of backs-to-the-wall dullness and the Portuguese tactician has been yesterday’s man for a few years now.

If things don’t go his way, he lashes out at everyone and everybody – seeking to resolve himself of all responsibility.

Manchester United’s dismal 3-2 defeat to Brighton on Sunday seemed like a sea change in his tenure at Old Trafford – the point at which the players stopped listening and the fans turned their ire on to one man.

As you can imagine, his post-match comments to reporters from every broadcaster were a sight to behold.
