João Moutinho the latest name linked with a move to Roma
RomaPress
Roma may be looking to make one last push in this January window by further strengthening Jose Mourinho’s midfield.
According to several reports, including La Repubblica and Corriere della Sera, João Moutinho of Wolverhampton is actively being pursued by GM Tiago Pinto who considers a solid short-term option due to his physicality and veteran status.
The Portuguese international’s contract with Wolves in set to expire in June, and despite having turned 35 earlier in September, Moutinho is well liked at Trigoria.
Before making an attempt to bring him, Pinto will first have to find suitable destinations for Amadou Diawara – who has been linked with a move to Valencia – and Ebrima Darboe – currently away on AFCON.
