It has been a week to remember for Jess Naz and she capped off her excellent campaign with a goal at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in our final game of the Barclays Women’s Super League campaign.

Jess was named in the England senior squad for the first time this week as a standby player ahead of the latest international break and there was no better way to celebrate than grabbing her seventh goal of the season, helping us on our way to a 3-1 victory over West Ham United on Saturday.

Our number seven latched onto a through ball from Grace Clinton before showing composure inside the box to put us 2-1 ahead with just four minutes left on the clock after Riko Ueki's equaliser had cancelled out Bethany England’s early opener in N17.

The England international would then play a part in the final goal of the afternoon, teeing up Drew Spence for her stunning strike from distance in the ninth minute of injury time.

Reflecting on the game with SPURSPLAY, Jess said: “We started off really well, it was good to get an early goal to relieve some nerves and we just grew into the game, kept playing, I think, when they scored, we were under pressure, but we have great players in the team and we stuck to the game plan.

“I was happy to get the goal and then Drew finishes it off at the end.”

Plenty of supporters turned out to our world-class stadium for the season finale and Jess praised the Lilywhite fanbase for the support they have provided throughout the season.

“Every time we play here, I have about 40 people and plus all the fans have been great support,” she added.

“From the start to now, they have helped us along the way and you can see the exciting football we play, it’s attracting more and more supporters, so we just keep going.

“I have been here for a long time, the way I have grown with the Club, the support they have given me and the confidence, I’m just growing and growing... I’m so happy to be here, it’s like home."
