Remo Stars, reigning champions of Nigeria, are ramping up their squad to defend their crown and make a mark in the CAF Champions League. Among the new signings expected: Jérôme Agossa Bonou.

The Beninese international played last season with Requins FC in Benin. A two-year contract awaits him with the Sky Blue Stars. An experienced midfielder, Jérôme Bonou has journeyed across the continent: Aspac, Coton FC de Ouidah, Djoliba AC of Bamako, Académie Club Sportif/CNSS of Djibouti.

Having previously featured for Benin's U17 and U20 national teams, Jérôme Agossa Bonou has also donned the senior national team jersey. His move to Remo Stars is expected to be made official by next week.
