After eight months on the sidelines following two surgeries on his knee, Jérémy Ménez will finally receive minutes from América boss Miguel Herrera.
Ménez and América will take on Necaxa on Tuesday in a re-scheduled match from week one.
“I am very happy because after a very long time, I am very happy to play tomorrow and I hope that we will win.
“I think I can play 20 or 30 minutes, we will see with the coach because of course, it is the coach who decides everything,” the Frenchman said.
With the return of Ménez, Piojo will have another option for his offense, in addition to Nicolás Castillo, Henry Martín, Nicolás Benedetti, and Oribe Peralta, although the latter is still injured.
