Brice Samba has firmly established himself as number one at Forest yet again this season, with not much set to trouble his place in the side.

Djed Spence is enjoying an exceptional loan at The City Ground this season, with Forest fans hoping that they will be able to strike a permanent deal with Middlesbrough, but for now, he is likely to continue playing a starting role.

Joe Worrall and Scott McKenna have been mainstays in the Forest backline this season, with the arrival of Steve Cook, adding seniority and even more ability to Forest’s already mean defence.

Max Lowe continues to miss out with injury, with a return date yet to be determined, meaning that Jack Colback could enjoy a lengthier spell operating as a left wing-back.

With Colback covering at wing-back, James Garner and Ryan Yates should be deployed as the midfield two, with the pair striking up an excellent partnership in the heart of midfield.

One player who could arrive in the Midlands this month, and would most likely be a regular starter, is Millwall winger Jed Wallace, that Cooper’s side are in a strong position.

Scott Twine is another player who could touch down at The City Ground this month, as per a report from Nottinghamshire Live, with the League One maestro continuing to set the third tier alight.

Keinan Davis enjoyed an excellent 70 minutes against the Gunners, with his performance against the Premier League side justifying his inclusion in this squad.
