After a move to Benfica fell through, Jasper Cillessen is set to make a move to the Premier League sooner rather than later in order to get more first-team football.
That’s according to Sport, who claim Manchester United, West Ham, and Everton are all heavily interested in the 30-year-old and it’s up to Cillessen to choose his next destination.
The Portuguese giants were only willing to offer €12m for the shot-stopper despite Barcelona’s valuation of over €20m.
Everton and Manchester United are monitoring the situation in case Jordan Pickford or David de Gea decide to leave the club this summer.
West Ham’s interest in Cillessen is a bit odd as they’ve brought in a pair of goalkeepers in the summer window while defending West Ham Player of the Year Lukasz Fabianski is their sure-fire number one.
The 50-time Dutch international has largely been ignored during his three-year stay at Barcelona, making just 32 first-team appearances.
