As reported by Bild, Jamie Bynoe-Gittens will extend his contract at Borussia Dortmund until 2028. An announcement is expected by BVB soon, including the fine details of the contract.
The 19-year-old came to BVB U19s from the Manchester City youth setup almost three-years ago for a six-figure fee. Having broke into the first team, the forward’s market value is now around €14m. The England youth international posses a huge amount of potential and securing his long-term future is a positive sign for BVB.
The only concern for both player and club is injuries. Bynoe-Gittens’ development has been slowed at times due to being unable to play regular football.
However, it’s clear that BVB believe in the youngster. If he can manage a run of games, BVB bosses believe he can make the difference.
The youngster only extended his contract last year until 2025. However, this latest development ensures that Bynoe-Gittens is committed to BVB and the years ahead.
