Wednesday 3 April 2024 marks exactly six years since Cristiano Ronaldo scored one of the most iconic goals in Champions League history.
Ronaldo was still playing for Real Madrid at the time when they took on Juventus in the quarter-finals, and having opened the scoring early in the first leg, the Portuguese superstar then added a stunning bicycle kick to his collection in the second half.

Los Blancos went on to win the competition that year, with Ronaldo claiming the Champions League Golden Boot.
And the following summer he ended up moving to Juventus, later citing the ovation he got from the Bianconeri fans as one of his motivations behind joining the club.
Six years later and the 39-year-old is still scoring goals in Saudi Arabia, while a hotel he recently stayed in is selling his bed for €5000.
