Ipswich Town and Hull City drew 3-3 in a thoroughly entertaining clash at the MKM Stadium on Saturday night, as an 87th minute Noah Ohio equaliser kept the Tigers' play-off hopes alive.

Following Saturday's draw, the Tractor Boys sit third in the Championship table with just two games left to play, and are level on 90 points with second place Leeds United, but have a game in hand over the Whites, meaning that four points will seal automatic promotion to the Premier League for Kieran McKenna's men.

After moving up to the Championship from League One last campaign, back-to-back promotions seemed like an unfathomable feat for the Tractor Boys, but they are now just one win and a draw away from doing just that.

Chelsea loanee Omari Hutchinson has played a key role in the Tractor Boys' pursuit of top-flight football, and proved his worth on Saturday night.

Hutchinson was electric vs Hull

The wideman produced a jaw-dropping performance at the MKM Stadium, scoring a brace, as his first goal established a 2-1 lead for his side, while his second put his side 3-2 in front.

Hutchinson may be disappointed by his team's 3-3 draw, given the fact that he produced a performance that was worthy of being a match winner.

The nature of Hutchinson's strikes was admirable, as he scored two screamers either side of half-time.

In the second minute of first half added-on time, the 20-year-old controlled Luke Woolfenden's pass with his right foot, before cutting inside onto his left and curling an impressive effort in to the top corner from the edge of the area.

This season, Hutchinson has now scored nine goals, and produced five assists in 42 appearances, and 18 starts for the Tractor Boys, which will surely encourage McKenna and co to swoop for a fresh loan agreement with Chelsea, while his excellent display at the MKM Stadium will make his current club even more keen to retain his services.

Tractor Boys must earn promotion in order to land new Hutchinson deal

Under McKenna's management, Hutchinson has developed into a player who has a deadly eye for goal at Championship level, and is more than willing to take defenders on.

His parent club, Chelsea, may view a loan move to a fellow Premier League outfit as the next phase of the starlet's development, as he has proven his ability in the second tier, but he may not be ready for first team football at Stamford Bridge, due to Mauricio Pochettino's large squad which boasts quality wingers such as Raheem Sterling and Noni Madueke.

Therefore, in order to land a new loan agreement for the 20-year-old, the Tractor Boys will surely have to win promotion to the Premier League.

But this is more than feasible for McKenna and co, who require just a win and a draw against Coventry City, who can no longer finish in a play-off spot, and Huddersfield Town, who are desperately fighting at the wrong end of the table.
