Ipswich Town have a deal in place to sign Burnley defender Dara O’Shea, according to the Daily Telegraph.
O’Shea is in demand as the end of the summer transfer window approaches and he has had interest from the Premier League.
Wolves have been keen, but have now cooled their interest, while Brentford signed Sepp van den Berg from Liverpool.
Ipswich are now closing in on the Republic of Ireland international and have agreed a fee with Burnley.
Kieran McKenna’s Premier League side will pay a fee of around £15m to take O’Shea to Portman Road.
O’Shea is happy to make the move to Ipswich and will put pen to paper to a five-year contract with the Tractor Boys.
The signing will give McKenna another defensive reinforcement as he looks to keep Ipswich afloat in the Premier League.
O’Shea, 25, came through the youth set-up at West Brom and was snapped up by Burnley last summer for £7m.
