Inter’s Alessandro Bastoni Could Stay With Club For Life Italian Media Claim | OneFootball

Inter are in a hurry to sign central defender Alessandro Bastoni to a new contract according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

Some of Europe’s biggest football clubs are said to have an interest in signing the highly rated young Italian and this interest could soon turn into offers which is why Inter are keen to agree a new deal with the player in a bid to deter clubs from moving for him.

Inter’s plan is to sign Bastoni to a new five year contract and Inter are prepared to just about double his current €1.5 million a year salary, although his representatives would like him to receive more than double.

There is however no concerns and the parties will meet soon for talks. The report concludes that Bastoni always dreamed of playing for Inter and could stay for life with the club.
