Inter Set To Appeal Decision To Not Hand Bologna 3-0 Defeat After Covid-19 Postponement, Italian Broadcaster Reports

Inter are set to appeal the decision taken by the sports judge to not award Bologna with a 3-0 defeat for not fulfilling their fixture against the Nerazzurri, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.

As has been reported by Sky Sport, via FCInternews, Inter are angry that the same course of action has not been taken by sports judge Gerardo Mastrandrea as was taken earlier in the season for the Udinese-Salernitana fixture or the Juventus-Napoli fixture from last season.

Inter were due to face Bologna at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara earlier in the season but it became clear that the local health authority had placed the team in quarantine due to the number of positive Covid-19 cases that they had.

It has been ruled that the game will be played at a later date in the season but Inter wants to know why this case appears to be different to others.
