Inter ready to hand Champions League call-ups to two Primavera graduates | OneFootball

Simone Inzaghi is set to include two Inter Primavera graduates in his travelling squad for the Champions League league phase tie away against Young Boys on Wednesday according to the latest updates from Italy.

Two Inter youngsters set for Champions League call-ups

Inzaghi is expected to call up 19-year-old wing-back Mike Aidoo for the first time this season. The former Chievo youngster was called up for the Group Stage match against Benfica last season, but is yet to make his debut in a competitive fixture for Inter’s senior side.

Inzaghi has been monitoring his progress for some time already though, according to reports from Calciomercato.com. The coach had the youngster at his disposal for all of the Nerazzurri’s pre-season training camp over the summer.

The Nerazzurri coach will also include 19-year-old midfielder Thomas Berenbruch in his squad for Wednesday’s game against Young Boys.

The young central midfielder was included in the matchday squad for the 1-0 win away against Roma at the Stadio Olimpico on Sunday evening, his first appearance in a competitive senior squad this season.

Young Boys-Inter will kick off at 20.00 BST on Wednesday evening.
