Signing a new number one is a priority for Chelsea this summer, with one of their goalkeepers set to leave.

Chelsea signed Kepa Arrizabalaga for a world record sum from Atheltic Bilbao in 2018.

He impressed in his first season, but his performances have dropped since then. He struggles to deal with long shots and aerial duels.

Chelsea signed Edouard Mendy as Arrizabalaga’s replacement. The Senegalese shot-stopper had a remarkable debut season.

His second season started well, but his form dropped after he won the 2021 African Cup of Nations.

Chelsea must sell one of them this summer, and they are leaning toward Mendy as he has only a year left on his deal.

The Blues and Inter must also discuss the future of striker Romelu Lukaku who spent this season on loan with the Italian club.

Chelsea are also reportedly eyeing a move for Lautaro Martinez, with new manager Mauricio Pochettino keen on signing the forward.
