Inter Milan are looking to ring major changes to their attacking department, as Joaquin Correa and Marko Arnautovic could be the next ones to leave after Valentin Carboni.

The young Argentine international is reportedly close to joining Olympique Marseille.

As reported earlier today, the 19-year-old would like to sign for the Ligue 1 side, while the two clubs are working on finalizing the deal.

This will likely be an initial loan move with an option to buy. Nevertheless, the Nerazzurri should retain a buy-back option.

However, Carboni’s exit won’t spell the end of Inter’s business in the attacking department.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport via FcInterNews, the Serie A giants are also hoping to offload Correa and Arnautovic.

As the pink newspaper explains, Simone Inzaghi has requested a new arrival upfront. This could well be Genoa’s Albert Gudmundsson who remains the club’s main transfer target.

But in order to pull off this coup, Inter must first make room for the Icelandic star.

This means that the Nerazzurri will have offload players who are deemed surplus to requirements.

After Valentin Carboni, Inter Milan Looking To Offload Joaquin Correa & Marko Arnautovic

Correa certainly fits the description, especially after failing to establish himself as a regular starter since joining Inter in 2021.

The Argentine tried to revive his career with a loan spell at Marseille last season. However, he failed to produce a single direct goal contribution.

Therefore, Inter will be looking to sell Correa this summer, and the source believes Saudi Pro League suitors could soon emerge.

On the other hand, offloading Arnautovic could be a more difficult task as the Austrian doesn’t have a market at the moment.

The 35-year-old signed for the Italian champions last summer and his contract is valid for another year.

Nevertheless, Mehdi Taremi’s arrival will likely push him further down in the pecking order.
