Serie A giants Inter Milan have enquired about signing Brentford goalkeeper David Raya, according to the Guardian.
The Spaniard is attracting the interest of several top European clubs after a superb campaign for the Bees.
Raya kept 12 clean sheets in 38 Premier League matches this season as Brentford finished in the top half of the table.
He showcased his impressive shot-stopping ability, with no keeper making more saves in the Premier League.
The 27-year-old caught the attention of many people with his solid distribution skills. He helps Thomas Frank’s side start attacks with his passing from the back.
His performances have attracted interest from Inter and Tottenham Hotspur.
Spurs need a replacement for stalwart Hugo Lloris, who will leave the club this summer after 11 years.
They are keen on Raya and have offered him personal terms.
The last step is to close a deal with Brentford, who want £40 million for him.
Inter are also in the market as they prepare for the departure of Andre Onana.
The Cameroon keeper is on the move this summer, just a year after joining the Nerazzurri.
Manchester United and Chelsea have shown interest in signing Onana, and the Serie A club may have no choice but to sell.
They may fancy their chances of signing Raya ahead of Tottenham as they can offer him Champions League football.
Chelsea have spoken to Inter about a deal for Onana, but the Italians reportedly asked for big money.
However, Inter also want some Chelsea players which may create a pathway for a deal.
