Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar is proud to have won the Scudetto.

Skriniar admits he began the season not believing they'd win the title.

“I have unreal feelings, an unreal joy," Skriniar told Sport.sk. “I admit I didn't expect us to win it.

“Last Sunday, I was thinking of closing at home against Sampdoria next Saturday. It happened and I'm glad it went like this.

“It's a huge success. For me, for the club and for the fans who have been waiting for 11 years."

Skriniar revealed how he spent the Sunday.

“I saw the game in the hotel room, on a tablet," he said. “After the final whistle, I immediately opened the champagne.

“This is the greatest success of my career. Winning an Italian title is very challenging. Especially in the season when we were eliminated from the Champions League and the Coppa Italia.

“It's incredible, I will probably understand everything after a while. I dedicate this title to all Slovaks. I'm very happy to have brought it to our country."
