Inter Milan are looking to bolster their attacking options this summer and have identified Ajax striker Sebastien Haller as a top target.

According to a report from Italian outlet La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter have met with Haller’s agents to discuss a potential summer move.

However, the Eredivisie giants are demanding a fee of around €35 million to part ways with the Ivory Coast striker.

Haller put his underwhelming spell at West Ham United behind, and he has become a highly-recognisable striker following a stellar campaign at Ajax.

He is among the prolific goalscorers in Europe this season, netting 34 goals in all competitions for Erik ten Hag’s side.

The 27-year-old is also the second-highest scorer in Champions League this season with 11 goals, though Ajax were knocked out by Benfica in the round of 16.

Haller’s meteoric progress at Ajax has caught the attention of Nerazzurri, but they could struggle to meet his transfer fee due to their financial struggles.

Inter have also shortlisted names like Jonathan David, Gianluca Scamacca and Paulo Dybala as potential targets for the summer.

David is widely believed to leave Lille this summer, with plenty of European clubs keeping tabs on his situation. The Canadian striker has been productive in Ligue 1, scoring 13 goals this season.

The Nerazzurri have also contacted Sassuolo star Scamacca, while Dybala remains their dream target.

The Argentine talisman’s contract at Juventus expires this summer, but there’s no significant progress in the renewal talks, leaving his future wide open.
