Inter have intensified talks with Belgian side Club Brugge for winger Tajon Buchanan as coach Simone Inzaghi’s side are determined to acquire his services in the upcoming transfer window.
La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that constant contacts have been held between both sides, as well as the representatives of the Canadian international, as the Nerazzurri are keen on completing a loan with an obligation to buy between €12m-€15m for the 23-year-old North American sensation.
So far this season, Buchanan has amassed two goals and two assists in 12 games-played in the domestic league, displaying his explosiveness and superb technique on the ball.
With former Juventus wing-back Juan Cuadrado out for three to four months after undergoing injury, the Beneamata look to be proactive in the transfer market and view Buchanan as the ideal candidate to fill the void on the right-hand flank of the pitch.
Inter face heavy competition as Benfica and Aston Villa are also very keen on obtaining the Canadian’s signature heading to the second half of this year’s term.
