Serie A giants Inter are already on the hunt for a replacement for Denzel Dumfries and they now have their eyes fixed on Salzburg’s Amar Dedic.
While names like Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Michael Kayode and Yukinari Sugawara have been linked with the Nerazzurri, La Gazzetta dello Sport report today that Inter have their eyes firmly fixed on Austria because they are keen admirers of Dedic, who is seen as a replacement for Dumfries.
The Dutchman is heading towards an exit from Inter, with his current deal expiring in the summer of 2025. They want to sell Dumfries this summer because they do not want to make the same mistake as what they did with Milan Skriniar, who left on a free transfer.
Salzburg currently value Dedic at about €20 million and that is because his contract expires in the summer of 2027. Relations between the two clubs are quite positive and Dedic has previously been close to joining Roma but he ended up rejecting the move. Inter are following him and it won’t be easy to deal with Salzburg in this case, but the sale of Dumfries could help the Italian champions.
