Inter captain Samir Handanovic has reiterated the message that the team hope to keep all of their main players together for the season and not make any big sales in the last weeks of the summer.

Speaking to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia ahead of this evening’s Serie A opener against Lecce, the captain was clear in his view that he hopes to see the team kept together so that they can be as competitive as possible over the upcoming season.

Inter are heading into the final weeks of the transfer window, as well as the start of the season, with something of a cloud of uncertainty over them regarding the possibility of selling big name players like Milan Skriniar or Denzel Dumfries.

However, reports have suggested that within the club the will is strongly towards keeping hold of these players, and yesterday evening coach Simone Inzaghi stressed exactly this in a press conference.
