La Gazzetta dello Sport reports Inter are already considering offering their coach Simone Inzaghi a contract extension until 2028 after a ‘perfect’ year.
Inter are determined to offer their coach Inzaghi a two-year contract extension, according to the latest Gazzetta dello Spor report.
Inzaghi’s current deal runs out in June 2026, but according to the pink paper, the team’s developments and impressive results during 2024 have convinced club directors and president Beppe Marotta to prepare a contract extension offer for the Piacenza-born tactician.

Inzaghi already became the highest-paid coach in Serie A last summer when he signed a contract until 2026 worth €6.5m per season.
The Nerazzurri not only won their 20th Serie A title this year, but they also have a fantastic point average (2.37 per game).
If Inter win the next two league games against Como and Cagliari, they’ll reach 89 points in 2024, two more than in 2023.
If Inzaghi extends with Inter and stays until 2028, he’ll become the second longest-serving manager at the club after Helenio Herrera, who led Inter for eight consecutive years, from 1960 to 1968 and returned to the club for one season in 1973-74.
