Journalist Mario Cortegena has shared the latest update on Real Madrid forward Endrick, confirming that the 19-year-old will continue his recovery process in Japan, with his personal trainer flying in during his honeymoon to assist him.
The club is taking no chances with one of their most promising young stars, making his full recovery the top priority.
Endrick, who suffered a hamstring injury in his right thigh on May 18 against Sevilla, has faced a frustrating summer.
After joining his Real Madrid teammates late in the FIFA Club World Cup in the United States, he suffered a relapse of the same injury during the team’s final training session in the US. This setback has forced the club to revise his recovery timeline.
According to Cortegena, the plan is that Endrick will not return to action until September.
As a result, he is also expected to miss Carlo Ancelotti’s second call-up with Brazil, another blow for the teenager, who had hoped to continue building his international career alongside his club commitments.

Medical reports suggest Endrick will be out for another eight to ten weeks, depending on how well his recovery progresses.
The club is monitoring his condition closely, but the focus is not on rushing him back. Instead, the goal is to ensure the muscle injury is fully healed to avoid future complications.
As one of the club’s biggest bets for the future, Real Madrid are committed to giving him the time and resources needed to recover properly. For now, there are no other objectives on the table apart from getting him back to full fitness.
Endrick’s injury is undoubtedly a setback, but both the player and the club understand that his long-term career is more important than rushing back for early-season fixtures.
Real Madrid will continue to support him throughout this process, confident that once he is fully recovered, he will become a key figure for the team in the years ahead.
