(Image): Chelsea remove three players from kit launch photos – including defender who is still at the club

Chelsea have today launched their kit for next season, a moment that’s been delayed due to the club’s inability to find a shirt sponsor.

It turns out that those delays caused even more problems than expected.

As someone with access to a behind the scenes photo discovered, there were three players in the promotional material who were then left out of what was released.

Cesar Azpilicueta and Kai Havertz have left the club since these pictures were taken. Trevoh Chalobah was also cut out – we’re not sure if that’s just because they weren’t able to find any pictures with him in without one of the other two, or if that’s hinting he could be leaving shortly as well…
