Wesley Fofana scored Chelsea’s opening goal last night, only to limp off injured later in the first half.

He was seen leaving the stadium on crutches, and while Graham Potter wasn’t able to give any details on the severity of the issue last night, an Instagram post from the defender today has hinted that it’s a severe issue.

The former Leicester man tweaked his knee in a challenge with Rafael Leao, and today wrote that he had gone from “laugher to tears” in the moments between his first Chelsea goal and the injury.
