We’ve all known Andreas Christensen is leaving Chelsea for some time now, but we all needed to hear it from the horse’s mouth directly.

The Danish defender has just posted this long message on his Instagram as a farewell statement, where he thanks everyone at the club and the fans, and talks about how difficult a decision it was for him.
“Mentally, the last few months have been tough” he wrote, perhaps explaining some erratic games in those final few match weeks.
