The images of Roberto De Zerbi’s row with Ismaël Koné did the rounds last week – and it was the club that had opened itself up to last season’s rollercoaster 2024-2025 campaign, the highs, the lows as well as moments of tension. At a press conference attended by Get French Football News De Zerbi gave his thoughts of the documentary depicting his first season in French football. “I’m happy about it. I have no secrets in life or in football, so I’m glad this documentary is coming out,” said the Italian on Thursday afternoon before adding, “We’re in Marseille, we’re united with the fans and the club’s management.”“There are some things that need to stay in the dressing room,” added De Zerbi. “But we’re trying to find our identity. Once you find it, it has to stay with you. Before you know where you want to go, you have to understand who you are.”The final episode of the six-part documentary series is set to go out on the club’s Youtube channel this weekend, depicting Les Olympiens‘ final months of the season when they clinched UEFA Champions League qualification and second place in Ligue 1.GFFN | George Boxall – reporting from La Commanderie, Marseille.
