FLW's Blades fan pundit believes the 24-year-old would be a good option ahead of next season's promotion push

Sheffield United will aim to retool and upgrade their current squad once again as they seek to compete at the top of the Championship this coming season.
Last summer, the Blades secured the services of a well-sought-after full-back from League One in Harrison Burrows, and it seems that Chris Wilder may be looking to resume his time shopping in the third tier during the ongoing transfer window.
Pete O'Rourke has reported that Sheffield United, alongside fellow Championship side Swansea City, are eying up Ethan Galbraith. The versatile 24-year-old has enjoyed a successful two years to date at Leyton Orient and scored the winning penalty to send the O's to Wembley in their League One play-off semi-final win at Stockport County this past May.
The former Manchester United academy man will be one of the many names in Richie Wellens' side who will be linked with a move to the second tier this summer, and he seems highly rated among Sheffield United fans.
FLW's Blades fan pundit and host The the Blades Ramble podcast, Jimmy, reflected these views in an interview with Football League World, stating that Galbraith would be a "solid option" for his side's pursuit of the Premier League.
Jimmy admitted that, whilst Galbraith is an unknown quantity to him personally, the reports linking the 24-year-old with a move to Bramall Lane are being met positively around the red half of South Yorkshire.
"I personally don't know a lot about Ethan Galbraith if I'm being honest, but a lot of people I speak to whose opinion I value really rate him," he said.
"He's a good age and a lot of the feedback I've heard is really positive."
On which position Galbraith would be assigned to play at Bramall Lane, Jimmy suggested that he would be set to play more on the right of their midfield.
The 24-year-old played as a right-back for the majority of the second half of the season under Wellens, but is comfortable playing across the midfield, too - albeit he has not played much on the wing in his career at all.
Jimmy continued: "I think we have other options [for right back], but in terms of someone who could potentially play right wing, it certainly highlights a position we are struggling in and have struggled with throughout last season.
"He seems a solid option and a good investment for Sheffield United - I'd be really excited to see him come to Bramall Lane.
"So yeah, it's a thumbs up from me."
Last season, Ethan Galbraith cemented himself as one of the most important players in the EFL due in part to his ability to play numerous positions with minimal fuss.
Throughout the season, the Northern Irishman played at right-back, defensive midfield, wing-back and even as an attacking midfielder behind Charlie Kelman at times, but never really on the wing for the O's.
In a long 46-game season, having the ability to play in a multitude of positions makes you a key name in any squad looking to challenge for promotion, hence the increased interest from a side like Sheffield United.
Last season, Galbraith netted six times and provided six assists. Additionally, he played every minute in the play-offs, showing how key he was in the Leyton Orient side.
The Leyton Orient boss has said that he expects to lose key players this summer. They've already seen key loan players Charlie Kelman, Jamie Donley, and Josh Keeley depart, and Wellens will be hoping that players contracted to the O's won't follow suit.
However, if the Championship promotion contenders come knocking, it'll be hard to see a situation where Ethan Galbraith ends up remaining at Brisbane Road for the 2025/26 campaign.
