Marcin Bulka (24) has had an exceptional start to the season at OGC Nice, displacing Kasper Schmeichel as No.1, winning the September Player of the Month award, earning his first Poland cap and conceding just four goals in 13 appearances in all competitions.

Bulka has not conceded since 15th September when he conceded twice against former club Paris Saint-Germain in a 3-2 victory for Le Gym. He also earned his first cap for Poland during the most recent international break and is going from strength to strength.

‘I want to repay the confidence that they have shown in me.’ – Marcin Bulka

As his manager, Francesco Farioli noted, Bulka is “one of the most watched goalkeepers on an international level” due to his recent performances. The Italian manager’s choice to put his trust in the young Polish goalkeeper and release Schmeichel is certainly paying dividends.

Given his exposure, Bulka will be capturing the attention of other top clubs across Europe, however, his focus is firmly on Les Aiglons. “I am very happy where I am today. I am not looking elsewhere. This is the club that gave me a chance and I want to repay the confidence that they have shown in me,” said Bulka in a press conference, attended by Get French Football News.

Bulka will be looking to continue to repay that faith when Nice face Toulouse FC in Ligue 1 on Sunday as he looks to extend his incredible run of not conceding.
