Following the end of the year’s final international break, Barcelona are set to resume their campaign this weekend as they take on Celta Vigo.
The Catalans have been the most prolific attacking team in Spain this season. But coach Hansi Flick may have to deal with a depleted offensive unit heading into this clash.
That is because several Barcelona forwards are struggling with injuries or lack of fitness right now, including Lamine Yamal, who is unlikely to feature this weekend.
Robert Lewandowski, Ansu Fati and Ferran Torres are other players who are either injured or nursing from a knock.
However, in a major boost for Barcelona, it appears coach Flick will be boosted by the return of at least one of his star forwards, in the form of Lewandowski.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Lewandowski has overcome the back problem which prevented him from taking part in the international break.
The Polish international, therefore, will be ready to participate this weekend, in what could be a major confidence booster for the Catalans.
Lewandowski, after all, has been the leader of the Barcelona offensive pack this season, racking up 19 goals in all competitions this season.
With Yamal missing in action, Lewandowski’s clinical nature in front of goal could be crucial as Barcelona look to return to winning ways after a defeat to Real Sociedad.
Apart from Lewandowski, Flick also has the option to deploy new signing Pau Victor, especially if the veteran forward fails to complete the entirety of ninety minutes.
