Paris Saint-Germain have made some interesting signings but still lack some star quality.
Luckily for them, they boast one of the best frontlines in Europe which can carry them through games.
Unless anything changes, hereâs how we think the French champions will line up in 2019/20 âŚ
Thomas Tuchel usually opts for a three-back formation that uses wing backs, but look at the balance of this side.
Youâve got attacking full backs, Marquinhos as the aggressor, Thiago Silva as the sweeper and Marco Verratti mopping everything up.
This allows Idrissa Gueye to fulfil the box-to-box role he excels at, while Pablo Sarabia can link play and arrive late in the box.
The front three donât need an introduction â Neymar on the left, Edinson Cavani as the focal point and Kylian MbappĂŠ making dangerous runs in behind.
This is more what we expect. Two athletic centre backs alongside the ageing Thiago Silva, with full backs pushed high.
Verratti can still dictate play in this formation, but Gueye will take some defensive responsibility away from him â which is a good thing!
Further forward, Neymar can combine with Ăngel di MarĂa who is excellent coming in off the right, and MbappĂŠ could play a more central role.
Playing a smaller side at home? No reason to be conservative!
Diallo and Marquinhos are quick and strong enough to marshal the defence singlehandedly, while Colin Dagba and Layvin Kurzawa provide width.
Let Leandro Paredes sit and distribute, while the energy of Ander Herrera and class of Julian Draxler support from deep.
Neymar and MbappĂŠ provide invention in attacking areas and Cavani will mop everything up.
