An insight into the potential knock-on effect of the latest pair of expected attacking reinforcements at Real Madrid this summer on the club’s plans for Arda Güler has this evening been provided.

It is of course common knowledge that Carlo Ancelotti’s already star-studded squad looks set to be added to ever further ahead of next season, by way of the arrivals of two headline names.

First through the door will be Brazilian sensation Endrick, and likely following in short order will be Paris Saint-Germain superstar and long-time Real target Kylian Mbappé.

As much will only serve to increase the competition for places in a squad which is already beginning to take shape as perhaps Europe’s best.

So, with all of this in mind, what impact will such fresh blood have on the future of Arda Güler?

The name of youngster Güler has of course long taken its place front and centre in the headlines in Spain’s capital, amid the Turk’s ongoing struggles for game-time.

Having notched less than 90 minutes of action across the season to date, it has been increasingly suggested that Güler could be farmed out on loan this summer, in a bid to grow from both a physical and tactical standpoint.

And, according to Relevo, as much comes with a view to the signings of Endrick and Mbappé being more than likely to ‘further reduce his opportunities’ in Ancelotti’s squad.

Though, on the face of it, Güler’s intention would be to occupy an altogether different area of the pitch than the aforementioned Bernabéu-bound stars, the issue lies in his ongoing physical limitations.

Not yet trusted to fill a role in midfield, the 18-year-old is considered, for all intents and purposes, as an attacker in Madrid.

As a result, opportunities look set to be even more limited next season, making a loan exit for Güler an increasingly likely prospect.
