In what turned out to be Kylian Mbappé's final season at Paris Saint-Germain, the French goal-getter was back to what he does best - scoring an absolute tonne.

Mbappé started the campaign excluded from PSG's pre-season tour to Japan as speculation about his future swirled.

But when he was eventually called upon in August, the pacy striker set about making up for lost time by netting in his opening game of Ligue 1 against Lens and then failing to relent until May.

Mbappé would eventually bag his 250th goal for the capital club in March and was a huge part of their run to the Champions League semi-finals.

After defeat in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final with Barcelona, PSG needed a big performance to book their place in the last four.

Thankfully for Luis Enrique and co, Les Parisien turned up when it mattered most at Estadi Olimpic with the Ligue 1 giants blowing away their Catalan rivals in the second leg.

PSG eventually wound up 4-1 winners with Mbappé grabbing two late goals that secured their place in the semi-final against Borussia Dortmund.
