Serie A side Roma sacked Daniele de Rossi earlier this week and it hasn’t gone down well with the club’s supporters, who are quite angry with how things have gone.

Ivan Juric is the club’s new manager but there seems to be more of a focus on the fans’ protest. Corriere dello Sport state that Roma fans are in shock about what has happened in the last few days and there have been vile acts against club CEO Lina Souloukou, who played a role in De Rossi’s sacking.

They are a threat to the safety of the CEO’s children and she has also faced abuse on social media, witth shameful writings also found around Trigoria recently. Protection measures are in place already and there is now surveillance at required times outside her house as well.

Souloukou’s children do go to school and an escort will accompany them for that. But more protests are expected in the game against Udinese, as Curva Sud are expected to execute a protest 30 minutes into the game and they could also leave the stadium till that time. The stadium will not be full and the expectation is that only 62 thousand fans will be at the Olimpico and and thousands of seats will be free.
