How Leicester City could yet sign Juventus’ Matias Soule

Newly promoted Premier League side Leicester City could yet end up signing Juventus starlet Matias Soule, who spent an impressive loan stint at Frosinone last season.

It was previously reported that the Foxes have an offer ready for Juve that doesn’t match the Bianconeri’s valuation, but Fabiana della Valle has reported that they haven’t quite given up yet and the move is still very much on.

Leicester are now willing to pay €25 million plus bonuses of 5 million for the Argentine and even though Juve want €35 million to sell the player, the Foxes could yet meet that asking price. Cristiano Guintoli has promised Thiago Motta that Soule would only be sold for that price.

Once Juve receive that money, they would likely use that to sign Teun Koopmeiners, who has already given his approval for the Juve move and that is why the Old Lady aren’t really in a hurry. For that reason, the money earned could also be used for signing Jean-Clair Todibo and a player could be inserted in the move for the Frenchman.

The move for Jadon Sancho could also be triggered by the funds but as of now, it seems likely that it would only be a loan move.
