Rijeka were eliminated by Swedish outfit Djurgardens IF as they suffered a 4-1 aggregate defeat.

Although Vrancic has yet to score for Rijeka, he did provide an assist for team-mate Nikita Vlasenko in the club’s clash with Dinamo Zagreb.

This particular goal turned out to be a consolation as Dinamo Zagreb sealed a 3-1 victory in front of their own supporters.

After making seven appearances in the SuperSport HNL, Vrancic was forced to watch on from the bench for his side’s recent meeting with Sibenik.
