As is customary, the Rojiblanca youth academy had ample participation with the youth teams of the Mexican National Team, including the performances of Hugo Camberos, Yael Padilla, Diego Ochoa and Juan Pablo Uribe with the U-20 squad.

The four players trained in the Rojiblanca youth academy traveled to Spain with the Tri U-20 team to play three friendly matches. The first of these was won by the Aztecs with an outstanding participation of Juan Pablo, who scored in the 3-0 win over FC Benidorm. Subsequently, Mexico lost 0-3 to the United States and 0-1 to France.

Diego Ochoa also stood out in the Tri's central defense, as he served as captain of the national team. On the other hand, Yael Padilla and Hugo Camberos participated in the three matches, although with dosed times due to the rotation of the Aztec team.

After completing their tour of the Old Continent, the Rojiblancos are back in the Perla Tapatía and will be under the orders of Gerardo Espinoza for the match of Day 13 between Chivas and Cruz Azul.
