Goals from Carles Aleñå and Luis Suårez extended their lead at the top of the table to 12 points over Atlético Madrid.
The Rojiblancos have two more games before Barcelona play again, visiting Valencia on Wednesday night before hosting Real Valladolid on Saturday.
Even if they win both those contests, a win for the Azulgrana against Levante would see them retain their title in any case.
But in the event that Atlético slip up, Barcelona could be crowned kings before they kick a ball again.
If Valencia beat AtlĂ©tico âŠ
Barcelona will be champions for the 26th time. Their head-to-head record means they could not be caught.
If AtlĂ©tico Madrid draw both their games âŠ
A draw at the Mestalla would keep Atlético clinging on but if they repeat that result against Valladolid, the race will be over.
If AtlĂ©tico beat Valencia but lose on SaturdayâŠ
They would be nine points behind with only three games left to play, meaning the title would remain at the Camp Nou.
