It appears that anything Erling Haaland can do, so can Rasmus Højlund.
The Manchester United striker may not have the surplus of goals as his City counterpart, but they do share something in common.
It seems Højlund may be determined to match Haaland where he can after scoring in the Red Devils’ Champions League clash with Galatasaray.
The Denmark international’s point-blank header from a Marcus Rashford cross gave Erik ten Hag’s side an early lead at Old Trafford.
According to Opta, that goal saw him become the youngest player since 2019 to score in his opening two Champions League appearances at 20 years and 241 days old.
The player to achieve the original feat is – yes, you’ve guessed it – Haaland at 19 years and 73 days.
The Dane then went and secured a brace on the night to make it three Champions League goals in only two games.
