This year looks like itâs going to be the summer of major transfers.
It feels as if every big, European club has some business in the pipeline, with the likes of Real Madrid, Manchester United and Barcelona all ready to break records in order to get the men they want.
But what exactly is the market value for these players? And who is the gameâs most expensive?
Transfermarkt, a database for all things football, have looked into their stats and come up with a top 20 that seems hard to argue with.
Teenagers Jadon Sancho and Kai Havertz are there representing the Bundesliga while Jan Oblak comes out as the gameâs most valuable goalkeeper.
Paul Pogba, potentially off to Juventus or Madrid, is in at âŹ100m after a fairly mediocre season while NâGolo KanĂ© continues to be seen as one of the best midfielders around with his own nine-figure valuation.
And now into the top 10, we have two Liverpool players after their Champions League heroics this season.
Mohamed Salah and Sadio ManĂ© get a combined total of âŹ280m with Manchester City pair Raheem Sterling and Kevin De Bruyne in seventh and eighth.
Eden Hazard, who signed for Real Madrid just last week is the fifth most-valued player in the game with Harry Kane in a surprise third.
What perhaps isnât too much of a shock is who is in first place.
Kylian MbappĂ© has continued his astronomical rise this season, and is now, by Transfermarkt at least, valued at âŹ200m.
Weâve just got one complaint though â Lionel Messi in sixth?
