Hellas Verona coach Gabriele Cioffi offered no excuses after their Coppa Italia defeat to Bari.
The Serie A outfit thrashed Verona 4-1 on Sunday at the Marcantonio Bentegodi.
Cioffi said: "An uphill start, a setting like this had to be rewarded in a different way. In the first 20 minutes there were positive aspects, for the rest there is to be silence and work. I take my responsibilities, Magnani's change was a gamble and I sacrificed him.
"I have faith in the club, we need three or four signings, two of which in defence. We are working hard, if that is not enough we will do more.
"In the first 20 minutes, I did not find this effort, the feeling I had is that we were dangerous. There is to forget, keep quiet and work, in serenity
"What was missing? In my opinion? I would say everything, without wanting to be rude."
