Wolves have completed the signing of Jackson Tchatchoua from Hellas Verona in a deal worth around £10 million (€12.5m), adding another option at right wing-back for head coach Vítor Pereira.

The 23-year-old has signed a five-year deal at Molineux, with the club holding the choice of tacking on an extra year.

He becomes Wolves’ fourth new face of the summer window, following striker Fer López from Celta Vigo, Colombian winger Jhon Arias from Fluminense and Norwegian defender David Moller Wolfe from AZ Alkmaar.

Tchatchoua is comfortable playing as a full-back or wing-back and gives Pereira some extra flexibility down either flank. Last season in Serie A, he turned out 37 times for Verona, chipping in with two goals and three assists, mostly operating down the right.

The defender first joined Verona on loan from Belgian side Charleroi in 2023, before the Italians made the move permanent a year later.
