Barcelona’s Héctor Bellerín has suffered an injury which could see him miss El Clásico and two key Champions League matches.

Barcelona’s injury woes continue as Héctor Bellerín complained about pain in his left leg during Tuesday’s training session. According to Mundo Deportivo, tests carried out this morning by the club’s medical staff confirmed that the 27-year-old injured the soleus muscle in his left leg.

Even though the Blaugrana communicated that his return will depend on how his recovery develops, he is expected to be sidelined for three to four weeks, which means he will miss the game against Real Madrid at the Estadio Santiago Bernabéu, as well as two Champions League fixtures against Inter Milan.

With Sergi Roberto sidelined too, the Barcelona coach will have to think hard about who would be the best player to fill the gaping void left at right-back against Mallorca.
