Enzo Maresca has told striker Nicolas Jackson he’s free to leave Chelsea before the end of the transfer window.
Jackson has seen his future questioned following the arrival of both Liam Delap and Joao Pedro, with the Brazilian in particular making an instant impact.
It’s reportedly over between Jackson and Chelsea, but as of yet the Blues have received no offers for the 24-year-old.
Jackson was left out of the squad for the games against Bayer Leverkusen and AC Milan, with Chelsea said to value him at £80m.
There are a number of clubs interested in the Senegalese, and Chelsea are believed to be confident of finding a suitor for Jackson.

Newcastle are said to be interested, whilst Italian giants AC Milan and Juventus are also thought to be admirers of Jackson.
Jackson is suspended for Sunday’s game against Crystal Palace, but Maresca has stated he wouldn’t have been involved anyway, and is free to leave Chelsea.
“He is training with us [the first-team squad], but he is not going to be involved,” he told The Standard.
“You know the situation already. The transfer window is open. He can leave, and we’ll see.”
Jackson isn’t the only attacker who’s free to leave before the end of the window, with Chelsea also looking to sell Christopher Nkunku.
Bayern have opened talks with Chelsea for Nkunku, and the Blues are thought to want €40m plus adds on for the France international.

It’s thought Bayern would prefer a loan with an option to buy, but Chelsea want a permanent deal, with personal terms already agreed since January.
Nkunku is keen on the move, but has also attracted interest from RB Leipzig, with the idea floated of him possibly being involved in the Xavi Simons deal, but he reportedly wasn’t keen on the move.
