Karim Adeyemi has described Chelsea transfer target Jamie Gittens as one of the best players one against one he’s “ever seen.”
Chelsea are in desperate need of a winger following the departure of Jadon Sancho, with Noni Madueke, Pedro Neto and Tyrique George currently the only wingers in the squad for the Club World Cup.
Madueke is attracting interest from Arsenal, whilst Chelsea are interested in the likes of Borussia Dortmund’s Jamie Gittens and Lyon’s Malick Fofana.
Chelsea reportedly made a verbal enquiry to Lyon for Fofana, but it’s clear their priority target is England under-21 international Gittens.
The Blues have agreed terms on a seven year contract with Gittens, but are yet to reach an agreement with Dortmund for the 20-year-old.

Chelsea had a bid rejected earlier this month worth £42m, but it’s believed a total package of £47m could be accepted by the Bundesliga outfit.
Gittens scored 12 goals last season, including four in the Champions League, and team-mate Adeyemi has spoken very highly of him.
“He has no fear,” Adeyemi said as quoted by BBC Sport.
“For me, he is one of the best players one-against-one I have ever seen, to be honest. He will be a really good player.”
As well as a winger Chelsea are looking to bring in a versatile forward with both Christopher Nkunku and Joao Pedro set to leave.
Chelsea are said to have been offered the chance to sign Mohammed Kudus from West Ham, with the Hammers thought to be open to offers of less than his £85m release clause.
