Bayern Munich left it late to beat RB Leipzig thanks to a brace from top-scorer Harry Kane.
Scorers: Kane 56′,90+1′ ; Šeško 70′
After some big missed chances in the first half, Bayern took a deserved lead in the tie through the prolific Kane.
The Englishman finished powerfully into the bottom left corner after being played through by Jamal Musiala.
RB Leipzig pulled themselves level in fortunate fashion as Benjamin Šeško’s tame shot took a nasty deflection off Leon Goretzka to deceive Manuel Neuer.
With things looked bleak for the Bavarians, Kane stepped up and showed why Thomas Tuchel forked out €80 million for his services in the summer, as the England captain smashed home a volley to steal all three points for his side in stoppage time.
The the win sees the gap between Bayern and Leverkusen reduce to eight points.
