This summer transfer window is far from over and FC Barcelona are well aware of that. Thus, the Catalan giants will look to make as much use of it as possible. After all, there is much work still left to be done by Barcelona beyond just signing new players.
While the recent arrival of Marcus Rashford was a great step in the right direction, the club has to look forward as well. After all, there would essentially be no point in signing new players if the Catalan giants are unable to register them before the start of the season.
To help with that, transfer exits this summer would not exactly be a bad thing for Barcelona to address and look into. While some operations might be more impactful than others, every case is still important to give attention to.

One such case is that of Inaki Pena, who is reportedly looking to leave the club this summer and is assessing his future. However, despite being linked to an exit this summer, his commitment to his duties at the club remains absolute.
Perhaps that is why, as highlighted by Mundo Deportivo, Hansi Flick will be taking the 26-year-old Spanish goalkeeper with him and the rest of the squad for the preseason tour in Asia. For now, that is Flick’s decision and it is expected to stay like that if the normal circumstances remain the same.
However, the situation could possibly change if a new and irresistible offer arrives for the player. So far, however, that has not been the case and it is reported by MD that the current offers that have come his way have not exactly met his expectations.
Still, despite an exit looking likely for him, Flick wants to respect his professional contract and is confident enough about his commitment to the club for the time being. However, with the arrival of Joan Garcia and the recent renewal of Wojciech Szczesny’s contract, Pena’s future at the club remains questionable.
