Barcelona reportedly have grand plans for Marcus Rashford’s presentation, with the date and time for his official unveiling now set.

Rashford signs Barcelona contract

Manchester United forward Rashford can be considered a Barcelona player, at least until the end of next season, having already signed his contract with the club.

After weeks of speculation over his future amidst links to several clubs, news broke over the weekend that United had reached an agreement with Barcelona for Rashford to spend the 2025/26 campaign out on loan with the Catalan giants.

Rashford and his representatives made it clear that Camp Nou was the player’s dream transfer destination and he finally got his wish.

United granted Rashford permission to fly to Spain and seal the move, which is now complete, according to the reliable Fabrizio Romano.

Sport have also disclosed Barcelona’s grand plans to unveil Rashford, which they label as almost “Lamine Yamal-style.”

Barcelona’s presentation plans for Rashford

Sport reveal, “The official announcement is imminent and the player will be presented tomorrow at 6:00 PM in a private event in President Joan Laporta’s office.”

“He will then visit the Barça Store at Camp Nou. The modus operandi will be exactly the same as that used with Lamine Yamal.”

The report notes that Rashford will be accompanied by his entourage of family and loved ones as well as the agents who helped get a deal over the line.

In the evening, Rashford and his camp will “dine at an exclusive Barcelona restaurant” with the board of the reigning La Liga champions.

It’s understood Rashford has already trained with his new teammates. This took place on Tuesday afternoon.

The England international is believed to have only undertaken light exercises to ensure he does not pick up an injury, which would have been “a total disaster”.
